Effective October 10, 2019, Davis Brown of Salisbury has accepted a position on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Civic Orchestra. The Charlotte Civic Orchestra is Charlotte’s only civic orchestra. Made up of over 70 volunteer musicians from around the Charlotte metro area, the CCO, with its educational entertainment approach is able to break down traditional barriers that can limit exploration of symphonic music by new listeners. The Charlotte Civic Orchestra was created in 1986 and is directed by Music Director Dr. Geoffrey Whitehead.
